Police create obstacles in HJS activities

HJS activists were explaining the importance of immersion of idols as per Dharma-shastra when Police Inspector  (PI) Mr. Suryakant Tarade of Shivaji Park Police Station shouted at one activist and said, “You remove everything from here. I will not allow you to do anything when I am here; else I will file case against you. Have you taken permission from Police for creating awareness ? Show me the paper.” The activist said that permission was not granted although it was tried and showed him a copy of application seeking permission. Seeing that, PI said that it is not permission, you should have taken proper permission. A representation submitted to the Mayor was shown to him when he asked, “Is mayor a police?”
